Over the past few years, Wilson Railing’s technology department has grown quite a bit in both size and technological advancements. We are now using the latest technologies to give our customers the best conceptual drawings we can. We now offer four levels of visuals for our client’s projects which included, 2D CAD, 3D CAD, 3D Superimposed, and video rendering. Taking a look at the examples below, it’s easy to see how powerful these new visuals are. A video example will be posted up in the next few months.
2D CAD is our standard way of showing our clients their product. While it does get the main point across, it tends to be diffcult to envision what the final product will
actually look like.
Another limitation to using a 2D CAD Design is 2D CAD will only provide the views that are drawn up, where as 3D CAD offers any view the cient could possibly imagine.
3D CAD is quite a leap in terms of visualization. With the product designed in 3D, we can offer any view the client could possible imagine.
At this stage we can also change the color of the paint on the fly, and even add in objects, scenery, and realistic lighting to achive an overall
visual presentation for superior to the traditional 2D CAD Design.
Level 03 - 3D Superimposed
By going out to the clients location, and snapping a photo before we've even begun to work, we can superimpose the 3D CAD Design onto the before photos.
Using the latest technologies we can then add in shadows as well as take out anything unwanted in the photo. Combining 3D CAD with the lastest photo editing
technologies, we are able to provide a realistic representation of our clients projects.
Here we are showing the final product, completed and installed. Compairing the Final Product to our 3D Superimposed Design, it's easy to see the amount
of accuracy we are able to achieve.
That amount of accuracy allows Wilson Railing to offer an extremely powerful sales tool to our clients.
